Jamie Oliver's TED Prize wish: Teach every child about food
SOME GOOD COMMENTS:

The true root of the problem is PARENTS that for whatever reason don't cook and teach their children how to eat properly. We all learn from our parents, and most of this learning comes by example. When parents don't know how to cook and are forced to eat more prepared frozen and fast foods, their children learn that eating in that way is just business as usual. Over time we've convinced ourselves that we are somehow busier now than ever before in history (a load of B.S. if you ask me) and these cheap and easy foods have become the majority of many peoples' diet. Parents that cook less never teach their children how to cook. When these children grow up and move out they are unable to do anything other than operate a microwave or turn on the oven for a frozen pizza.
All parents owe it to their children to learn and teach their children about food and cooking basics. It's highly rewarding and the more demand there is for fresh ingredients the cheaper and more available they will be.Tags: LISTENING
